Its now February and Christmas seems such a long time ago. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I hope everything you wished for 2015 will come true. The run up to Christmas was manic. A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers for their support on the tinsel and turkey break, all the evenings out and the Christmas fayre and Carol service.
2014 was a fantastic year for Paul’s Place. We purchased the bungalow and hopefully by the summer two of our members will have a permanent home. This has been very stressful but we are now on the home straight. We became a domiciliary care agency. During 2015 we will decide if we are going to continue with this. And what can I say about mini bus! “phenomenal” the members have been out all the time. The respite trip in November, the German market tree days running, bowling, Christmas shopping, the photography studios, the gym every week plus of course lots of trips to the pub. Our members can at last go out every day and it is a joy to watch.
We are so lucky to have a new patron Dr Dawn from embarrassing bodies. I know she will be a great asset to Paul’s Place and hopefully will be able to attend some of our fundraising events.
As always can I please thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the continued support. I hope 2015 will be a fantastic year for us.
Love Kath x
