We are delighted to announce we have been awarded a £200,000 capital grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation.
This funding will enable us to expand our capacity to support people living with disabilities across the South West.
The grant will directly help to fund Paul’s Place Hub; the construction of a new accessible building which will increase the charity’s ability to deliver essential services ensuring that we can continue to deliver life-enhancing programs and services in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
“This incredible support from the Garfield Weston Foundation marks a transformative moment for Paul’s Place,” said Lynda Williams, CEO of Paul’s Place.
“With their help, we are moving closer to creating a specialist space for adults with physical disabilities and complex needs in the region. The works funded by this grant will make our spaces more accessible, more vibrant, and better equipped to meet the needs of our community.”
Paul’s Place has been at the heart of the community for thirty years, providing social activities, emotional support, and practical services to disabled adults. Demand for our programs continues to grow, highlighting the urgent need for investment in accessible, modern spaces.
The Garfield Weston Foundation, one of the UK’s most respected charitable institutions, has a long history of supporting organisations that make a tangible difference to people’s lives. Their commitment to funding capital projects ensures that charities like Paul’s Place have the infrastructure needed to deliver vital services both now and for future generations.
Paul’s Place extends heartfelt thanks to the Garfield Weston Foundation for their huge generosity and belief in our mission.
