We are thrilled to announce that Paul’s Place has been awarded a generous £75,000 grant from the Bernard Sunley Foundation to support our exciting capital project. This vital funding will help with the construction of a new accessible building; Paul’s Place Hub, which will increase the charity’s ability to provide essential services ensuring we can continue to deliver life-enhancing opportunities for disabled adults across the South West.

Kayley Waller, Head of Fundraising and Communications, Paul’s Place, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to receive this grant from the Bernard Sunley Foundation. Their support is a huge boost to our capital project and will help us create an inclusive, accessible space where disabled people can connect, grow, and feel truly supported. This funding brings us one step closer to achieving a long-held vision for Paul’s Place.”

The Bernard Sunley Foundation, renowned for its commitment to supporting charities and community projects, has recognised the value of the work we do at Paul’s Place to reduce social isolation and promote independence for disabled people. Their investment will contribute to the development of a modern, accessible space that meets the growing needs of our community and allows us to expand the services we provide.

This capital project marks an exciting new chapter for Paul’s Place, ensuring our charity remains a place where fun, friendship, and belonging are at the heart of everything we do.

The grant is part of a wider fundraising campaign to raise the capital needed for the new building. With building works already underway, Paul’s Place is inviting individuals, local businesses, and community organisations to get involved and support the next phase of this transformative project.
