Paul’s Place secures £125,000 grant towards new inclusive hub
Paul’s Place is proud to announce a pledged grant of £125,000 from The Edward Gostling Foundation towards our capital project – Paul’s Place Hub. This huge funding boost marks another major step forward in creating a new inclusive and accessible space dedicated to improving the lives of disabled adults across the region.
The new Paul’s Place Hub will be a purpose-built facility designed with accessibility and inclusion at its core. The space will enable us to expand our reach, offer a wider range of services, and support more disabled people to live life to the full. From social activities and wellbeing support to skills development and volunteering opportunities, the new hub will act as a central point for empowerment, connection, and opportunity.
Kayley Waller, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Paul’s Place, said:
“We are thrilled and deeply grateful to receive this generous pledge of £125,000 from The Edward Gostling Foundation. This pledge brings us one step closer to realising our vision of a state-of-the-art hub where disabled people can thrive in an environment that’s been truly built around their needs. The new Paul’s Place Hub will be a space where inclusion isn’t just a word—it’s a reality.”
The Edward Gostling Foundation is a long-standing charitable organisation committed to improving the quality of life for people living with a disability or long-term illness. With a focus on providing life-enhancing support and promoting inclusion, the Foundation’s backing of Paul’s Place Hub reflects its dedication to enabling access, independence, and opportunity for some of the most marginalised members of society. Their support is helping to create a lasting legacy of inclusion and empowerment in the South West and we extend our huge thank you to them.
The grant is part of a wider fundraising campaign to raise the capital needed for the new building. With building works already underway, Paul’s Place is inviting individuals, local businesses, and community organisations to get involved and support the next phase of this transformative project.
