Paul’s Place would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the trustees of the Bristol & Avon League Trust Fund for their generous donation of £2,700.

The fund was originally established some years ago following the closure of the Bristol & Avon Football League with remaining funds held in trust by the Gloucestershire Football Association. In recent months trustees agreed that the remaining monies should be donated to a charitable organisation where it could make a meaningful impact.

After learning about Paul’s Place Andrew & Sue made an unannounced visit to our Hub. During their visit they were given a full tour and saw first-hand the support we provide to adults with disabilities. Seeing the immediate difference our services made left a lasting impression.

Following this visit Andrew recommended to the other trustees that Paul’s Place was the right place for these funds ensuring the donation would directly benefit those who need it most,

Kayley Waller, Head of Fundraising and Communications said:

“We are incredibly grateful to Andrew and Sue for taking the time to experience our work in person and the fantastic donation. Paul’s Place is a welcoming space where adults with disabilities can feel part of a community, build friendships, and take part in meaningful activities. It’s not just about the services we provide; it’s about connection and inclusion. We’re so pleased that Sue and Andrew chose to drop in to our Hub unannounced, as it gave them a genuine, everyday insight into what we do and the difference it makes.”
